Vanilla Wafer Graham Cracker Crust

This crust is sweet and crunchy with a mix of Vanilla Wafers and Graham Crackers combined.

Equipment

  • Food Processor or rolling pin
  • Pie pan I used a 9 and 1/2-inch glass pie pan with tall edges.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 c crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 c crushed graham crackers
  • 1/5 c butter melted 1 stick
  • 1/3 c sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Pulse the vanilla wafers and graham crackers in the food processor until they become sand textured. Pour into a mixing bowl and stir in the sugar.
  • Add in the melted butter and stir until it resembles damp heavy sand.
  • Pour into an ungreased 9 and 1/2-inch pie pan and use a measuring cup to press down the bottom and around the edges. You want it to be firm but don't over-pack it to prevent it from being too hard to cut later.
  • Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool before filling with your pie filling.
  • You can place it into the refrigerator to help speed up the cooling process.
